The Jo Heller Transitions Home provides services to the community as a preventative alternative to in-patient hospitalization on a Crisis Stabilization Unit. Services are provided in an inviting home-like setting. The services are easily accessible and serve a maximum of 5 guests.
These services also provide a transition from in-patient services back to the community. Respite services are also available to guests who are displaced from or failing in their current residential setting due to behavioral health issues. This program is for adults age 18 and over with a primary mental health diagnosis. Services are structured by our Transition Home Respite Coordinator, Shaniqua King, with help from funding through a contract with the state of Florida.
