Mental Health Technician/Driver

Responsible for the safe and timely pick-up/drop-off of persons served and to monitor persons served while at the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program. Experience in Mental Health field preferred. Must be at least 25 years of age with a clean driving record and insurable on company vehicles.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Florida Driver’s License

Working Conditions: May be exposed to potentially aggressive individuals.
Must be able to lift and/or carry items weighing 75 pounds.
Some bending and stooping is necessary, otherwise normal.

Full Time Weekday Hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Behavioral Health Counselor
Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program

Quality Life Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor. The Behavioral Health Counselor is responsible for providing orientation for new admissions, designing and facilitating group activities, developing treatment plans with persons served, conducting and documenting treatment plan reviews, and program planning. The counselor is expected to identify challenging behaviors and to implement behavior interventions through environmental rearrangements, social interactions, and crisis intervention. Documentation requirements include completion of intake documentation for new admissions, documentation of persons served progress, FARS, group notes, biopsychosocials and summaries.

Educational and Experience Requirements: Must be a Certified Behavioral Health Technician or have a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related Human Services Field.

All candidates must hold a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Jo Heller Respite Transition Home

Fernandina Beach

Residential Assistant

Provides guests with support services designed to promote a safe, secure home environment for guests to receive crisis stabilization and respite services in a twenty-four hour residential setting.

Education and Experience Requirements:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  One year experience in a medical, psychiatric, nursing or in working with persons who have mental health services.  College education can be substituted for experience requirement.

Must be at least 25 years of age with a valid Florida Driver’s license and clean driving record to be placed on commercial auto insurance.
